Beware of the kelp
I have gone scuba diving in a kelp forest twice: first in the Channel Islands National Park in California, and then off the southern coast of Argentina, near Tierra del Fuego. The second time, I almost drowned after getting entangled in the giant algae and left behind by my group in near-no visibility freezing water. Luckily I survived to have another story to tell :) The Tapir on this watercolor took my lesson to heart, so don't worry, she will make it out alright, and very possibly pose for another painting!
Materials: Watercolor on Paper
Dimensions: 12.7 x 18.8 x cm

About the Artist
Olga is a painter who draws inspiration from the fantastical worlds living inside her head: whether it is a parallel universe where the sapient life descended from dinosaurs rather than apes, or a land inhabited by mischievous lemurs, each artwork's characters come with their own story to tell.
Olga lives and works in her home in Paris, France that she shares with two furry assistants, of feline and canine variety.
