The story behind the 2022 Iguanodon Gothic painting:
In an alternative Universe, the Earth was not hit by a giant meteor and as a result, the dinosaurs never went extinct. Instead, they evolved into Dino Sapient whose artistic culture runs in parallel with ours.
This is the dinosaur universe's version of the American Gothic, a 1930 painting by Grant Wood. It depicts an Iguanodon farmer standing beside his daughter in front of their Carpenter Gothic style home.

About the Artist
Olga is a painter who draws inspiration from the fantastical worlds living inside her head: whether it is a parallel universe where the sapient life descended from dinosaurs rather than apes, or a land inhabited by mischievous lemurs, each artwork's characters come with their own story to tell.
Olga lives and works in her home in Paris, France that she shares with two furry assistants, of feline and canine variety.
