The story behind this 2023 painting:
In an alternative Universe, the Earth was not hit by a giant meteor and as a result, the dinosaurs never went extinct. Instead, they evolved into Dino Sapient whose artistic culture runs in parallel with ours.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is just as beloved of a children’s literature classic in the dino universe, as it is in ours. The story features many of the same characters, with the exception of all humans having been naturally replaced by dinosaurs: e.g. Dino-Alice is a girl velociraptor!
“You ought to be ashamed of yourself,” said Alice, “a great girl like you,” (she might well say this), “to go on crying in this way! Stop this moment, I tell you!” But she went on all the same, shedding gallons of tears, until there was a large pool all round her, about four inches deep and reaching half down the hall.

About the Artist
Olga is a painter who draws inspiration from the fantastical worlds living inside her head: whether it is a parallel universe where the sapient life descended from dinosaurs rather than apes, or a land inhabited by mischievous lemurs, each artwork's characters come with their own story to tell.
Olga lives and works in her home in Paris, France that she shares with two furry assistants, of feline and canine variety.
